Shopping and Sites

The State of Oregon has many great shops and sites to visit while here. Below are some of the ones that we believe Convention goers should visit as they are the best of the best.

The following are all PDF documents. You can use Adobe Reader if on a Windows PC, or the built in Preview program if using a Macintosh.

All shopping in Oregon is Sales Tax Free!

Centralia Outlets - Factory Outlet Shopping

Crooked River - Dinner Train

Mount Hood Railroad - Excursion/Brunch and Dinner Train

The following are not PDFs but are links to points of interest for those who want to shop or feel the need to do so. Oregon has some of the best shopping in the United States, and being sales tax free does not hurt. The price you see is the price you pay no matter what it is from a burger to a new stove.

Company Information: On your way in or out of town, this could be a necessary stop. Located near three of Portland's main roadways (Interstate 5, State Highway 26 and State Highway 217), this is a convenient place to shop. Saturdays get fairly crowded but the five major department stores, 100-plus specialty shops and well-kept landscape make it worthy of a visit if you like the mall thing. Be sure to grab a bite in one of the many restaurants. Credit card acceptance may vary by merchant.
